The virtual Council meeting 2020 has concluded and almost 70 registered delegates made this new format a success. They took decisions and adopted a resolution on home economics education in 2020.
The Council also marked the start of Gwendolyn HUSTVEDT’s term as new IFHE President 2020-2024.
It certainly would have been nice to celebrate these important event together. And to hand over in person the Distinguished Services Award to 2020 winner Margaret ARCUS. But the “new normal” requires us to find alternatives. To let you participate as much as possible, we prepared a NEWS RELEASE (attached) as well as:
– Gwendolyn HUSTVEDT’s video statement where she shares her vision of a way forward (https://youtu.be/rXKh_-CasZ8)
– The September Newsletter with a focus on the Council and new Presidency (https://www.ifhe.org/membership/ifhe-newsletters/)
– A Council section at the IFHE website ((https://www.ifhe.org/events/council-2020/) and more detailed information in the members area.
